Hi Wellness Enthusiasts,

Just a short note before I go off for the holidays.

Try to reduce the intake of vegetable oil when you are cooking at home. A lot of consumers will assume that when the package says, “0% cholesterol”, it is healthy.

The fact is: All fruits, vegetables and fruit juices contain NO cholesterol.

However, vegetable oil has a high content of saturated fats. Saturated fats is something you need to avoid to reduce the risk of stroke, heart and obesity problems. When you consume saturated fats excessively, your arteries might get blocked and that will mostly lead to heart attacks.

Opt for healthier ones instead such as canola, soya, olive and sunflower oils. Another option is also to get your daily fix of flaxseed oil. This will reduce your cravings for oily and fried food and provide the essential omega 3 and 9 for your brain.

For Better Health,

  1. Once I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a remark is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any manner you possibly can remove me from that service? Thanks!
